Frankie was born in London and after a few years moved to Penzance Cornwall.He got his first guitar when he was ten and got involved with loads of school bands that were gonna conquer the universe,he's still waiting for the signal to charge,anyway Frankie has been working in the music business since leaving school. Working for the likes of U2, Meatloaf,Chuck Berry,too many to mention etc.... and after many attempts at trying to get a record deal,and coming close, he decided to do it myself.Taking full advantage of the internet and a lot of very hard work you can now buy his singles and albums through itunes,napster,rhapsody,emusic, and other download stores.In january 08 Frankie finally scored his first chart entry in the UKs download charts with TALK WITH ME which reached number 28, then in february managed a number 5 with SOMEDAY SOMETIMES,Frankie is now receiving air play on national and regional radio stations.You can see Frankie Abbott playing live solo gigs where he plays a great mixture of orginals and classic covers such as Beatles, Stones,Kinks,the Who,U2, Bowie,Oasis and so on, just check out the gigs and tour pages on this site
